I first learned about John MacArthur from a friend who has a voracious appetite for the word of God. I told her that I didn't really "study" the bible, didn't really know how to go about it. I just read it! She recommended John MacArthur's site. Thanks Brenda! John is an amazing source of knowledge and really brings scripture to life. He goes step by step, using scripture to explain his topic. This guy studies various translations of the bible and tons of commentaries for about thirty hours a week... and he's been doing it for decades... ! That's a lot of work and a lot of time! Most of us don't have that kind of time, don't make time, or use the time for other things. Thanks to John MacArthur, we can reap the benefits of all that study time!
As of this writing, John's site has archived messages from his radio show, "Grace To You" dating back to 2005! Thatsa lotsa messages! You can listen online, read or download mp3's of all these messages FREE! Talk about a valuable resource! Check out some of these messages and then when you go back to reading your bible, all of these teachings come back to your mind and add depth and understanding to your reading! However, don't completely rely on someone else's study... learn to do your own studying in areas you are interested in or don't understand. Remember 2 Timothy 2:15 - "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." For great financial advice and a proven plan to get you out of debt and into wise money habits you have to check out Dave's site! Listen to his radio show! I found out the hard way that I needed to learn how to manage my money - because it was managing me! It's not a "magic" get rich quick scheme, just solid, proven, common sense advice put together in a way that is easy to understand. It makes sense! Lots of other cool stuff on Dave's site as well!
Read anything you can find by this man! His books have cleared up so many confusing subjects for me as a growing Christian! Stop beating yourself up and start living the way God intended you to live! Check out his Ransomed Heart site - valuable stuff!

We all need a positive course of action in our lives! I've only read Andy Andrews book, "The Travelers Gift", it's so good that I'm planning on reading everything I can find by this guy! You have to check him out!
